The bridal shower was incredibly nice and everyone was very generous. Thank You!! Carly and Elena helped me rip through all the gifts. When I was thanking everyone for coming I started crying and then everyone else started crying but I am fine now. We are getting really excited about the wedding and I can't wait to see everyone on the farm.

go to Priceline.com and you can get a pretty good deal at The Marriott West in Middleton. Did I mention you can pitch your own tent for free? I know camping isn't for everyone that is why god created hotels. Thanks God!

The Marriott and The House on the Rock Resort

We have ten rooms reserved at both places either under Bracke or Povsner. They will give you a discount. We would have reserved all of the rooms at The House on the Rock Resort but they did not have any more available. The Marriott is nice and is just off 12 on your way into town. Please wait a few days before booking at The Marriott because Chad still needs to return the paper work. There is plenty of camping space just in case...

Beer

We are going local for the beer. New Glarus Spotted Cow is a really tasty beer. I thought about ordering some Lite beer but you all are so good looking and in such great shape that it would be an insult. Maybe I should order beer with extra calories? But seriously they also have a beer called Fat Squirrel.

Planes, Trains, and automobiles

Flying to Madison? The local airport is only about a half hour outside of Sauk City. Many commerical airlines fly to Madison if you are looking to jet set out to the farm. You can take a train but I think you end up somewhere outside of Madison that is not Sauk City. Driving instructions are on your invitations.

Invitations are en route. The Friday evening before the wedding we will be camping outisde with any guests who come early. We also met Sid Cook the Master Cheese Maker at Carr Valley. He said we can get some cheese wheels to look like a wedding cake. Who doesn't love cheese?

Invitations are going out this week. We wanted to give the out of town guests a chance to book rooms in the Sauk City/ Spring Green area. Our number one recommendation is House on the Rock Resort in Spring Green.

Heelz and Kidz

You should bring your children out to the farm for the wedding but leave your stillettos at home. The farm is, a farm with grass and dirt which can make it tricky to walk around in most high heeled shoes.
